Sylvester Stallone is ready to sign on and star in a new adaptation now under a different title “The Wise Birds… once Said” a crime family drama with an epic Journey twist.

Wiseguy Joe, a.k.a. Joe Rage, a prominent soldier next in line for membership is passed over but manages to be a top earner and valuable associate, after many years he is giving the opportunity again to earn his button. But Joe declines the offer during the middle of the induction ceremony, and instead embarks on an amazing journey that takes him across the world.

The sought after screenplay in the eyes of the industry is a rare fine… and could yield a nomination or Oscar award for best film and in the right hands possibly best actor.

According to our sources the director and producers are less than enthusiastic with the lineup of actors and prefers Robert De Niro, Chazz Palminteri, Al Pacino, and other host of actors on their short list over Stallone playing led Joe Ragusa.
