At this moment Uncharted at the boxoffice has generated over 4000.000 million in revenue. The problem is studios plan to make it a franchise, and movie goer's think it's a bad idea and have complained there was not enough originality despite a few unexpected twist and turns. It has gone down as the biggest generic movie franchise in history.
Two years ago on December 18, 2020 the film was set to release. During the filming do to Covid the production was halted and a new release date was announced.
The film took place in Berlin and on location across Spain and Southeast Asia.

It resembles somewhat in a few ways like all pirate films and books do.
But it is very different because it actually has legs which are missing in a lot of gold & pirate stories including Uncharted.

As of today Alien Pirates has received over 2.507.000 million downloads, across different platforms largely from the authors sites as a free ebook and related posts and updates with hardly any promotions.
The potential earnings may well be close to a billion dollars.

The fact that studios are coming around to this jem is a mystery.
Nonetheless the book overall is any major studio dream wish come true.
